＜説明＞

むじな　は、夜の紀伊国坂で商人が顔のない女に遭遇する
話です。商人が怖くなって逃げ、そば屋に助けを求めると、
そば屋の店主が顔を撫でたところ同じ顔になったという、
のっぺらぼうの妖怪と入れ替わる怪談です。

Mujina are mischievous tricksters who enjoy frightening humans.
Their antics were popular subjects in stories old people told us
around the summer bonfire when I was a child in Japan.
An O-jochu turned round, and dropped her sleeve, and stroked
her face with her hand; and the Samurai saw that she had
no eyes ornose or mouth, and he screamed and ran away.
